The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the design and execution of unique marketing strategies, including both print and digital formats, with a direct focus on revenue growth and image enhancement. The Marketing Manager must also fully comprehend and convey the The Horse Shoe Farm Brand in all marketing pieces. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying The Horse Shoe Farm culture as well as promoting The Horse Shoe Farm as the premier destination of choice!



  • Reputation Management
    • Coordinate the collection, organization, and response of all guest reviews online (Facebook, Google, Yelp, Trip Advisor, etc.).
    • Coordinate with Steward, General Manager, and Guest Experience Manager to create incentives to maximize participation to increase online presence and guest satisfaction
  • Email Marketing
    • Creation, scheduling, and oversight of email blasts on a regular and consistent basis. Adhere to a regular monthly schedule of sending at least one email per month not including separate emails for special days, events, or promotions
    • Creation and implementation of growth strategies to increase our guest email list
  • Website
    • Collaborate with the Steward and senior management to keep our website current
    • Participate in monthly marketing strategy calls with third-party vendors as they relate to SEO and Google Ad’s strategies
  • Conceptualize and create branded, content-based blogs with corresponding photography and imagery
  • Social Media Marketing
    • Create and post social media marketing posts and campaigns
    • Ensure that social media posts are made on a regular and consistent basis. Adhere to a regular weekly schedule of posting at least once per week not including separate posts for special days, events, or promotions
    • Promote The Horse Shoe Farm’s brand uniqueness by considering demographics, target markets, and current events schedule
    • Responsible for the growth of our friends and followers, online brand reputation and management, and star ratings on review websites
    • Responsible for the growth of our organizational employment brand by representing The Horse Shoe Farm as a great place to work and attracting new team members through social media ads and engagement
    • Coordinate with owners and all Farm team members to receive photos and videos for our online social media content
  • Print Marketing & Promotion
    • Assist Steward and senior management in the design of brochures, menus, property guides, and other printed marketing collateral, as required
  • Assist the Steward, General Manager, and Guest Experience Manager in creating and implementing packages and special promotions
  • Assist other departments in daily operations including Guest Experience, Food & Beverage Housekeeping, and Maintenance


  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable years of experience in marketing or the hospitality/resort industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written and the ability to work well with co-workers and management
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong creativity
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Proficient in Social Media technology
  • Knowledge of Google Business Dashboard (Analytics, AdWords, etc.)
  • Ability to use systems and equipment including personal computer, scanner, copier, calculator, reservation & property management system, and other software/machinery as required 


  • Knowledge of local markets and local business contacts
  • Proficiency in WordPress web design
  • Proficiency in Google Business Dashboard (Analytics, AdWords, etc.)


40+ Hours per Week, Suggested Monday – Friday (Select Holidays Required)
