DINING AT THE SILO COOKHOUSE 

Join us as we offer an intimate dining experience for our guests in preparation for our new restaurant opening later this spring in The Silo Cookhouse.

Let us take you on a culinary farm to table journey set amidst the tranquility of the Farm’s eclectic dining room and the splendor of sweeping sunset views of Mt. Pisgah. Enjoy delicious food prepared with the freshest ingredients, predominantly sourced from the bounty of local artisans and purveyors right here in Western North Carolina.

Leading our kitchen with over 20 years of experience is Chef Shane McAnelly. Chef Shane’s cooking philosophy centers on letting the ingredients shine and the land inspire. Along with his sous chef, Kelsey Kuehl, they look forward to having you taste their creations.

The Experience 

We offer an intimate multi-course dinner service a couple evenings a week. Our menu changes every night in accordance with the natural rhythm of mother earth and her freshest seasonal bounty.

Join us in The Silo Cookhouse for hors d’oeuvres at 6:30pm, before dinner service at 7:00pm. All guests are seated at the same time and enjoy dinner collectively at our communal dinner table.

Here at The Horse Shoe Farm, we believe strongly in creating a sustainable food model that is conscious of our impact on the environment. As such, our menus will showcase just one animal protein per evening. If the choice of protein is not to your liking, we are happy to substitute with a Chef’s choice of vegetarian option.

Dinner is currently BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite drink to enjoy.

Children are welcome to have our nightly dinner menu. If our nightly menu is not to their liking, they can choose an option off our Kid’s Menu HERE for a reduced price.

Guests staying on property

Reservation confirmations and dietary preferences are required 72 hours before each meal. All reservations are non-refundable 72 hours prior to dinner and added to your guest account.

Offsite guests

Reservation confirmations and dietary preferences are required 72 hours before each meal. All reservations are non-refundable and paid in full upon booking.

*Please note:

  • Dining is limited to 40 guests per evening so please make your reservation early.
  • This is an intimate chef’s tasting experience so we may not always be able to accommodate ever dietary restriction and allergy (although we always try).  Should that situation arise we will inform you as soon as possible.

Pricing 

$75 per guest plus 6.75% taxes and 20% gratuity for adults and children eating the full menu.

$35 per guest plus 6.75% taxes and 20% gratuity for children ages 4-12 eating on the children’s menu.
