At The Horse Shoe Farm, we pride ourselves in maintaining the highest standard as it relates to our housekeeping procedures and protocols. While we remain open for business at this time, we have also taken extra measures to ensure all our guests feel safe and cared for during their stay.

We are closely monitoring updates and guidelines for any changes to ensure we are prepared and planning accordingly. We are so pleased to welcome you back to The Horse Shoe Farm. We want to assure you that our number one priority is the health and safety of our guests and team. Please review information about some changes you can expect when you arrive and during your stay at the Farm.

General Property Information

  • The property has been deep cleaned and sanitized. We are maintaining a schedule of multiple sanitation cleanings daily to ensure safe and comfortable environments for our guests and team.
  • Hand sanitizers are located throughout the property, and we have added hand sanitizers to each home for guests’ personal use.
  • Disposable masks are available upon request.
  • Access to indoor common areas (including but not limited to The Farmhouse, The Silo Cookhouse, etc.) may be limited at Management’s discretion to maintain proper social distancing. Private reservation of these spaces for your group may be made in advance and may incur an additional fee.

Arrival & Check-In

Our arrival & check-in process has been expedited to accommodate minimal contact. The day before arrival, you’ll receive an email with directions to your home along with access instructions. The Guest Services team may be reached by phone at any time for additional assistance.

Housekeeping

We understand some of you may not want to share your space with others once you arrive, so we will prepare your home appropriately for the entire stay. Upon arrival, we will discuss options for additional requests and linen exchanges during an extended stay.

Team Member Health, Safety and Knowledge

Our employees – and their own health, safety and knowledge – are essential to an effective cleaning program. Here are some ways we’re supporting them:

  • Hand Hygiene: Proper and frequent handwashing is vital to help combat the spread of viruses. In our daily meetings, our teams are reminded that cleanliness starts with this simple act. It’s important for their health and that of our guests.
  • Ongoing Training: In addition to training on housekeeping and hygiene protocols, our team members are also completing enhanced COVID-19 awareness training.
  • Real Time Information: Management is on standby 24/7 to support our team members and coordinate with local and regional authorities.
